Calligraphy has always been my favorite…still is.

I love them all. I struggle with all the letters and the pencil. 😂. I can’t get the thick line to show up. I think I’m doing as said. I want to learn so bad. I practice everyday. I have a 2b pencil. 😢

i really like #2 stroke!!

I can’t get my pencil drew like the calligraphy strokes. I sharpened the pencil and dulled one side of the lead as described but didn’t get that think & Thin effects when drawing. Both up and down strokes ended up the same thinkness. Its trickier when actually doing it than watching it if you are a beginner.

I don't like that I watched a whole video on "brush pens" and it was all felt tip pens. Would you consider doing one on brush pens?

my personal recommendation to anyone practicing is to buy a canson marker pad, print out the guidelines onto a piece of any paper, and use those instead of drawing them in pencil (slide the guidelines behind the top piece of paper). The canson paper is slightly translucent so it saves a tonne of time and lets you bomb them out line after line. You can also use it on card if you have a lightbox but I've never personally had much success finding suitable card.
